Divide, make’em fool and sit back cool!!

Perhaps, that’s what "behen" mayawati ji is thinking, And if it is true.. then how’s is it? Let me dig into it a bit deeper… By seeing today’s political scenario, behen ji’s weight is not less than any other party’s, in fact she looks more heavier than her arch rivals SP and BJP… (As usual!!)… Congress doesn’t come into picture at all when it comes to UP… and now after their countless “good deeds” in this tenure, they are already declared as looser!! So, in spite of having on such a good position and control over UP politics, why is mayawati playing this card of division? Is she trying to distract people from Taj corridor case or medical and other scams?
Now if she still plays, let’s see what she has in her deck of cards? UP is having the largest population of dalits and they are equally spread in entire state and BSP being a dalit led/for party, it has equal chances of winning in all the regions of state. So, is this the reason behind behenji’s confidence? Only sri kansiram ji knows!!
And she has the tremendous support from local parties like Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) headed by Ajit Singh, who has been campaigning for small states like Harit Pradesh comprising the western region, Raja bundela campaigning for Bundelkhand. They have their own “reasons/interests” of supporting behenji’s “noble” cause.
Now let's see how “noble” is this cause? We have already seen small states carved out of bigger states and doing well. Like Uttarakhand, earlier part of UP and now comes into the list of fastest growing and good states to live in. On the other hand we have chattisgarh, once a part of MP, now comes in the list of failed states. Why it failed? It failed, due to lack of resources, it always has to look for help from other states, whereas Uttarakhand had all the resources which helped it to become a successful independent state. So it is not necessary for a state to become prosperous by chopping it into smaller, helpless pieces.
The division of states should be based on its currently available resources, which will make it successful and independent.

100 and still counting!!

100 and still counting!! Is government really become deaf, blind and mute or waiting for it to become a political agenda on which they can do cheep politics and come up with it in the next elections? Yes, I am talking about Manipur economic blockade. The situation here is getting worse day by day and the only one, who is suffering due to this, is Manipur’s common man. It seems government has nothing to do with it and it is none of their business. Living for common man here has become hell, they are struggling really hard to get their basic necessities. Petrol and cooking gas cylinders are being sold at “unimaginable prices” like around Rs.200/ltr for petrol and around Rs.2000/cylinder for cooking gas. Even the prices of potatoes and tomatoes are touching sky. There is nothing to indicate that there is a mechanism to monitor the prices of goods being sold in the market, whether it is in whole sale or retail sale. Every seller is busy in making their own price list!!
This economic blockade is due to the clash between two communities, Naga and Kuki. The Sadar Hills District Demand Committee (SHDDC) had launched the economic blockade Aug 1 on two national highways — Imphal-Dimapur-Guwahati (NH 39) and Imphal-Jiribam-Silchar (NH53) — to press their demand for conversion of the Kuki tribal majority Sadar Hills area into a full-fledged district. However, tribal Nagas inhabiting the area are opposed to the creation of a Sadar Hills district. The Nagas have since Aug 1 also launched a counter-blocakde on the two highways opposing the demand by the Kuki people for a separate district.
And I was more shocked when I came to know that recently Manipur received award for “the Best Improved State in Governance among Small States of India” by India today group. Now I wonder, Is this for the award has given? Forget state government, central is acting like step mother, Is Manipur not a state or part of India, these are the situations in which rebels born, lift guns, point it towards government and called Naxalite or Maoists!!

People or Parliament?

During Anna’s movement against the corruption, entire country came for his support and gradually converted it into the biggest ever civil mass protest against corruption and later on made it ‘half’ successful. Earlier, Indian government tried its best to formulate this movement and declared it against ‘government or parliament’ in stead of against ‘corruption’ by always making last minute changes in their promises and by making unnecessary, irrelevant remarks or statements about Anna, his team and the movement so that they can overrule and finish it . However it didn’t happen… it did not happen because of the mass, because of more than a billion people who suddenly rose up in support of Anna’s will and stood up against those who are nothing but sitting ducks in parliament, do quack—quack (using 2G), eat bhussa-chara (fodder), play nothing but ‘commonwealth games’, do nothing but vote bank politics by  dividing people based on their cast, creed and religion, know nothing but how to make innocent people fool by making fake promises, hear nothing but false praises and flattery from their government executives and administrators, have nothing but bank accounts filled with billions of black money made by corruption. And they also stood up against every one who is involved in corruption in any way or in any manner from a corrupt office clerk to the Prime minister of India.
During this historical movement, in every debate, in every statement we heard them by saying parliament is supreme, no body is up beyond the power of parliament… By making this statement they thought they will crush people’s agitation and would make them go silent. However it didn’t happen… it did not happen because now we know that parliament is supreme but made by common people to serve common people not to rule over them. Rules are made to strengthen nation and its people not to strengthen ruling party’s corrupt politicians.
By the success of this movement … I guess, now they must have a clear understanding of supremacy… and If still not!!… God bless Indian politicians.

The Reason for Pakistan's obsession with India

It all started with a separation, usually there are always two major reasons behind this kind of act, the first one (the very common one also) is based on mutual understanding or assertion between both the parties, those are getting separated. This is a very safe and much peaceful way of getting separated. By this way both the parties finally come at a common platform, have a common thinking and decide at one thing and that is, to get separated for the happiness and comfort to all.
The second one is a bit obscure; it is obscure because in this kind of separation only one decides to get separate from the other. It is his/her wish to get separated from other, based on his/her choice and the reason could be anything. The “any reason” makes it obscure, a quite vague situation for the one who is at the other end of this act, who is still finding the reason which caused the separation.
And now the third one… an unusual one, this is the most harmful, painful and bloody kind. It is a violent separation, this separation is a bitter fruit laden on the branches of autocracy, fertilized with hate, terror, and loot and sprinkled with the blood of millions of innocents. And convicts are non-other than, the unhealthy interests and filthy intentions of the third party. Usually it is performed when third party seeks for some benefit out of it, it can be in any form financial, physical, a revenge or could be a social pillage.
Let’s discuss a bit in depth on this third kind… will go about 70 years back in Indian sub continent history and try to dig up few graves.
It was the year of 1947; place British India, the two separation seeking or rather being forced to get separated parties were “India” and “to be- Pakistan(east and west)” on the interest of British rule. Actually this example is a mix of second and third both kinds of separation. The second kind is included because a set of Indians suddenly “woke up” and asked to get separation from the rest of India or more specifically from a particular set of people who belongs to the other religion than that of their. They dreamed of a country in which only those people are allowed to live who come from the same religion, faith or belief. And apparently British had cashed out of their dreams.
About 70 years back Pakistan got separated from India and it seems like they still couldn’t separate themselves from their roots, in fact they have been trying so much that it has become their habit. And the hard they try, the deeper they get screwed. There is a psychology working behind Pakistan’s unhealthy obsession with India, It can separate from India geographically but it is hard to avoid or disconnect from its culture or past that still lies in its core. You can separate body parts but when you try to separate soul you simply loose life, same is happening with Pakistan now.
After separation from India, Pakistan had to work hard on building itself as a nation. It had to build a completely new country, which had to have strictly nothing in common with India. In the absence of true national identity, Pakistan defined it self by its opposition to India in front of rest of the World. The more it condemns India by rejecting India’s culture, people’s belief and their ideology the more it is ending up by loosing its own people’s culture, belief and support. The birth of Pakistan was based on the belief of not including people other than Muslim religion. So Pakistan never liked India as a secular state who’s 80% of total population is Hindu.
Once being a part of India now portrays itself as a nuclear power enabled neighbor, who never fails any opportunity of making red circles or showing elevated doted lines over major cities on India’s map as a soft nuclear bomb blast targets and its Gauri missile’s long ranges. Pakistan has actually become nothing more than but a dangerous brand of Muslim extremists. And this is because the actual power lies in bloody hands of Pakistani Army; Pakistan government is just a hand-puppet. On every issue or crisis Pakistan’s government always tries to mislead their people and world by keeping its humble or cooperative face in front, whereas always actual decision and action is made by its army, which has the whiff of Taliban. And the truth of its dual face was unveiled on May 1st of this very year, when Osama was killed garrison town of Abbottabad by US Navy. Pakistan army is the beneficiary of vast amounts of American assistance and money— $11 billion since 9/11—the military has diverted a significant amount of these resources to arming itself against India. On their western side, it has sought neither security nor stability but rather a backyard, which—once the Americans leave.
The time and money Pakistan is spending over Kashmir border if even 1/3rd of it was invested in Swat valley (North-West Pakistan), the picture would have been different or much in favor of Pakistan today. The control over swat valley could have kept Taliban on their back foot and Pakistan would avoid their 80% of terrorist attacks and bombing. However if we talk about the real scenario, the Pakistani army deployed on Kashmir border is busy in doing brain wash of local people, train them and pushing them in India via PoK-kashmir border to kill innocent people in the name of jihad. There are hell lot of evidences pilled up in support to realize the fact that many officers of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and Army are working as a chief or mentor for several militant groups active in PoK like Lashker-e-Tayyba and their involvement in Mumbai attack in 2008. This army, whose might has always been justified by the imaginary threat from India, has been more harmful to Pakistan than to anybody else.
Pakistan’s current situation could have been much better and peaceful if it was developed as a unique nation rather than being developed as an enemy or a counter part of India.

An urge in ROAR!!

She is dangerous yet so elegant; she is a predator yet so calm and she is not alone this time, walking with her cubs along with her herd of a dozen. I was reading Times of India yesterday and was amazed to see a column there, it was written on Sumatran tigers. Usually news related to the tigers always talks about tiger’s extinction, poaching or some saving campaign, but it was different. It was about a certainty that we could again hear the same loud and royal roar of this elegant creature in Sumatran jungles. And the proofs to support this news are nothing but few shots, however this time shots were not from the guns, they were from cameras installed in Sumatran jungles and they have captured few amazing images of tigers, which were assumed to be extinct before this day. It is been told that there are 12 tigers in Sumatran jungle, All are captured in images including a tigress with her cub.

This is really great to see that Sumatran tigers are continuing to breed and has given a ray of hope that we haven’t lost them completely. All credit goes to tigers themselves otherwise we humans have tried our best to place them in our favorite list of extinct animals (which is growing with an enormous growth rate) with a place very close to Bali and Java tigers and have already reserved index for them in story books and placed jars of their sizes in museums… now they all will go in vain!!.
No worries people we still have chance to get them in the list, I have read somewhere that some Indonesian paper producing company is setting up their plant on the very same place, where this herd of tigers have got noticed. If the company has got clearance from government to setup their plant there then nobody can protect them from extinction… Are we hearing an urge in their roar? If not then consider it to be the last roar from Sumatra...

Day Dreamer !

Had a dream of taking a walk with you,
A walk in the woods,
Talking about beautiful flowers, colorful butterflies
And a bit of about my childhood.

Had a dream of taking a walk with you,
A walk in the rain,
Talking about grey cotton clouds, chilly breeze
And a bit of about my rising pain.

Had a dream of taking a walk with you,
A walk on the sea shore,
Talking about curled seashells, saffron horizon
And a bit of about my thrilling core.

Had a dream of taking a walk with you,
A walk in the desert,
Talking about golden sand, uneven patterns
And a bit of about my failing effort.

Felt a sudden thrust and found my dream broken, collected all scattered pieces; few were with sharp edges so they made me bleeding.  I buried them in a nearby graveyard. I often visit to this place. On my last visit, saw few things growing up on top of it, took a closer look and was amazed to see that those are nothing but memories, now they are in the shape of beautiful flowers and tiny plants. Now I daily sprinkle them with tears to keep them fresh and alive.

We often forget talks, we often forget stories
But we always remember our sweet, little, old memories.

So whenever you get any, just grab it, hold it tight and preserve it as if you are not going to have similar one again in your life.

Expectations

The moment I type this word in MS word... I look for its synonyms… and the most familiar word I find is ‘Hope’… I always have unconvinced explanation for this word… I always hear people saying… “Never keep expectations, they hurt” … and unfortunately, sometimes it comes out true… logically!
Take this case… One lucky day you meet someone… and as every good relationship starts with a good and healthy friendship, so it does… luckily, you start meeting her everyday… and very slowly you find that you actually love to be with her... in her presence you forget all of your pains… whose chattering soothe you… whose smile makes your day and you find it world’s the most beautiful!!… you sleep at night in hope to meet her in morning… you lend your ears on her every small – small sayings… you love looking into her eyes… you find all of your answers there… you do not hesitate in making the most stupidest and obvious excuse just to listen her voice even if it is just… hmm/yes/ok!!... you feel her pain… you try your best to solve all of her problems… you find your happiness in her happiness… you know her likes/dislikes… you try doing everything which makes her happy and comfortable… you notice every little thing of her… in fact you start taking care of everything which is directly/indirectly related to her... you never knew but you actually feel great in doing that!
When you are busy in service… there is one more thing growing parallel to this… unnoticed… unintended… and that is Hope… hope of being treated in the same manner you treat her… if not all, at least for few!!... and when you don’t find it to be happen, you start feeling blue… whenever you look into her eyes you feel unanswered… you find yourself in such a conversation in which all you listen is just your echo…
I don’t find it wrong in keeping a little hope that can give you immense happiness or satisfaction… after all whole world is relying on hope!! If you have got hope for something you start act accordingly… I mean, if you are looking for something you will make all possible effort to get that… so keeping hope can make you act in a direction which will take you to your desired destination… the most important part in this, is to have clear idea for what you are keeping hope… you have put your heart in and she doesn’t even get a taste of it!! So always keep expectation, but from the right person… ironically, in most of the cases expectations are right but they fail because they are expected from a wrong person… sometimes everything is right but situations or circumstances aren’t fair enough… huh… and when expectations aren’t met, you broke down.
Are expectations one’s assumptions? Yes that’s absolutely right… assumptions are always made where there is a chance it to be true… if you are in any kind of relationship (Family, friend or love) and assuming everything is perfect, then somewhere you are expecting similar from your companion… because it can’t be perfect and stay for long if only one part is involved… the other half also have to contribute somewhat similar to make it absolutely perfect… good and long lasting relationships are made only when both contribute equally… and to check whether it is balanced… requires testing… a little testing is necessary to be assured of a good relationship… but it should be really little… testing brings expectation and vice-versa… expect only when it is really needed… when you really feel that something is missing… expecting a lot and expecting unnecessary can really make the statement “Never keep expectations, they hurt” true!!
Remember, Expectation always comes from the one who loves you… who really cares about you… the one who really needs you… your doodhwala... or your dhobi can’t expect anything from you except their payment!!
That’s it for now! You would say why ending it so abruptly… see, you are now expecting more from me  … no, it is just because things in my life which I like are ending up abruptly, without even notifying me… and unfortunately I like writing too!!
At last, a nice phrase from Leo Buscaglia, a prominent author, “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”
